Any of my die hard fans who have read my 'about' page will know that THE UN-WEDDING came about after a few short years working as a bridal makeup artist.
I believe that one of the most important features of bridal makeup is a highlighter, as it helps make you look fresh-faced and gives an extra dimension to your skin which is important for photos... and let's face it, there will be lots of those on your wedding day.
This nifty little face palette is your 'inner-unicorn' dream come true... a tiny rainbow soft pastel powders, each with a metallic finish.
I was slightly confused at first as box states it's an eyeshadow palette, however, I've never fallen into the trap of limiting myself when it comes to makeup and it's uses, as most products can be multi-purpose providing the colour is what you want.
When I began to test it, I soon realised just how versatile this product is.
It can be used as eyeshadow and it's shimmery finish makes it perfect for a delicate bridal makeup look.
The powders as really soft and easy to blend. I always use Spectrum brushes as they are so gentle. This was a perfect combination.
If you wanted to achieve a bolder look then there is a gloss which you can dab onto your eyelid first before using a flat brush to pat on your chosen shade.
For highlighting purposes, the choices are plenty!
The champagne shade can be used alone as a beautiful highlight that works on every skin tone.
You can also use the gloss in the same way you might use vaseline to highlight certain parts of your face... ... OR... and this is my personal favourite feature of the palette...
...You can sweep your brush through all of the colours at once to create that ethereal, opalescent highlight that Tinkerbell would be proud of.
You can find it here and 'shine bright like a diamond'... Now who was it who said that?
Are you a bridal MUA, what is your favourite product? I'd love to hear in the comments below!
