Without doubt, the most exciting thing to land in my Dropbox EVER was the collection of images from Jane Bowler's eagerly awaited and spectacular debut collection for the modern bride.
The collection launched less than 24 hours ago! I was so psyched about bringing you this feature that I dreamt about it last night and now that dream is coming true...
For those who aren't familiar with Jane's work, she creates 'wearable art' dedicated to craftsmanship and cutting-edge design. Each piece is carefully constructed in her East London design studio.
The Jane Bowler studio was established with 'ambitions to be an innovator in luxury fashion, accessories and textile design'. I think it's safe to say 'you well and truly smashed that' Jane!
Driven by a passion for process, materials and craftsmanship; the studio creates unique tactile surfaces using their signature hand printed and hand cut plastics.
Recognising and embracing today's modern bridal trends, the debut JB Bridal collection offers a range of reversible garments which will transform the modern bride from day to night and even beyond the wedding day.
The futuristic collection is perfectly juxtaposed by powerful collaborations with Heather Orr who specialises in knitwear and constructive textiles; modern bridal milliner, Ann Marie Faulkner and lingerie designer, Jody Shafton who all bring just the right amount of softness to the designs.
Jane Bowler's trademark custom-made contemporary accessories can be handcrafted to complement any colour scheme for the fashion forward bridal party. Jane, who married recently wore one of her own show-stopping creations and each bridesmaid wore a customised headpiece.
