Cora Stitch was created by me, Caroline King for those who are seeking bridal wear that gives a nod to the beautiful fashions of the past. I create these bespoke pieces from my studio in the beautiful Scottish countryside town Crieff. You can either visit my fitting studio in Crieff or if you are further afield we are able to create your own piece through a remote fitting service.

Growing up, I was always drawn to the past romantic fashions through literature, films and theatre so much so I even went on to gain a degree in Costume with Performance Design. After graduating, I was lucky enough to receive training from a bridal designer, which ignited my passion for creating gowns that elicit powerful emotions.

I am a real vintage lover and I love nothing more than visiting antique and second-hand shops - it's like opening a door to the past. When it came to my own wedding dress, I was excited to incorporate some vintage elements to create a beautiful and timeless look. The idea of having something that could be treasured for years was incredibly inspiring to me. After trying on several traditional white dresses, I realised that they weren't really suited to my style. It was only when I began to look for colours and my favourite eras that I felt fit me better that I found the perfect marriage of modern and vintage to create something romantic and special.

With my background and passion for antique fashion and custom-made pieces I am now striving to provide those looking for something special and one of a kind - a design that's creative and brings back memories of the past. I am passionate about helping individuals express themselves through the wedding outfit. Embellishing timeless designs with unique touches, each piece I craft is specifically designed to reflect the beauty of its wearer. I take immense pride in my work and I am driven to provide everyone with garments that make them feel good, empowered, and confident.
