Toasty Type is the darling brainchild of me... Jen, A Calligrapher, Illustrator, Hand Lettering Artist and all round lover of anything to do with lettering. You should see my Pen Collection, it’s epic. While I am located in Glasgow many of my creations can be sent by courier so location is not a problem.
A strong believer that your wedding should refl­ect your personalities, I create
original artworks by hand which includes Signage, Table Plans, Order of the Day boards, Invites, Table names, place cards and my absolute favourite, painted jackets. The beauty of artwork created by hand is that it is original, it’s beautiful and it offers so much more than your average vinyl cutter.
Known for my fun illustrations, I’m also an expert at smashing all your favourite
things together to create something unique, memorable and above all re­flective of who you are.

When it comes to creating unique items no surface is too weird, to date I have
worked on paper, chalkboards, metal, surfboard, snowboards, glass, plastic,
leather, denim, cotton, wood... the list goes on. Want your table plan written on a car door, welly boot or beer keg? You and I should definitely have a chat.
My most favourite thing is making work that brings you joy. I know how easy it is
to be sucked into a wedding machine and be spat out covered in glitter and
diamantes and that is denitely NOT my bag. So if you’d like to have a chat about your upcoming wedding, if you’ve got a mad idea or a crazy request then we should chat. I’m game if you are.
