On Sunday 26th March, The Un-Wedding Show took over Yorkshire’s favourite alternative wedding venue, Trafalgar Warehouse in Sheffield.

After a smashing debut in September 2022 we couldn’t wait to be back inside this cool warehouse space with a brand new lineup of the regions coolest independent wedding suppliers who are all on hand to make sure our awesome couples and throuples can plan their non-traditional wedding, easily!

The Sarah Nulty Power Of Music Foundation.

Famed for putting the party into wedding planning, this event took things to the next level with a musical extravaganza by 2 of our Book Of Love directory legends, Start To Finish Music and Married To The Music. This was the perfect way for us to honour our charity partners, The Sarah Nulty Power Of Music Foundation. The Sheffield-based charity exists to celebrate and support people to experience the transformative power of music. Sarah was my best friend but most people will know her for her work within the Sheffield music industry, and as one of the founders and Director of Tramlines. Sadly, she died in 2018 aged 36.

This is the 2nd time we’ve supported the local charity by donating 50% of our general admission ticket sales to the cause. Thanks to everyone who came along and bought a ticket, we were able to make a donation of £1000. This is enough to cover 2 musical grants to help socially and economically disadvantaged people in Sheffield develop their musical abilities. This is something Sarah would have been really proud of, so thank you!

Reminding everyone to ‘Be More Nulty’

Wedding music at its best!

Our attendees were treated to a range of different live musical performances throughout the afternoon to get the party started and make them feel as though they were at a real-life wedding. The performances included DJs, live saxophonists, live singers, and a brass band as these are some of the most popular types of wedding music entertainment currently.

The high-energy performances were enjoyed by our attendees and suppliers like! We think Sarah would have been front and center on our dancefloor! All of the acts are available to hire for weddings and events across Yorkshire and beyond.

Unique independent wedding suppliers in Yorkshire.

As with all of our events, The Un-Wedding Show Sheffield, is a showcase of Yorkshire’s most unique, independent wedding suppliers. We are proud of the community that we’ve nurtured over the years whereby our Un-Wedding couples know, like and trust that we will only curate a lineup of suppliers that we think they will love. You won’t find anyone tempting you with weight loss pills or teeth whitening kits at our events.

This lineup of suppliers blew us away with the efforts they go to in order to showcase their talents and wares at their absolute finest because they want to be booked by our awesome couples and throuples. The Un-Wedding Show is always a hub of inspiration and creativity. We want our attendees to leave feeling super-charged with ideas for their own Un-Wedding, with a list of suppliers that they know will be able to do the job, and that they have a vibe with.

We are always humbled to see so many conversations happening, and real connections being made because wedding fairs can have a tendency to be a bit awkward, right? Well, not this one!
